Madelung's disease, benign multiple symmetric lipomatosis, is a rare disease of undetermined cause characterized by symmeteric depostits of diffuse adipose tissue on the cheeks, the neck and the upper trunk. We experienced a case of multiple
symmetric
lipomatosis with both scrotal lipomas. The adult fist-sized lipomas were palpable in both scrotal sacs. he both scrotal sacs, he has suffered from the psychologic the psychologic stress due to his external appearance and represented decreased
sexual
libido.
The laboratory findings including lipid analysis, thyroid function test and liver function test were within normal limits. Actually, the ejaculation function was normal, but he feared the sexual impotence. We excised the both neck lipomas,
scrotal
lipomas and the right thigh lipoma. We also ressured & encouraged stopping alcoholic drinking. He was recovered with uneventful courses.
